Monroe Freeling Scouting Report
Monroe Freeling has all the size to win at tackle. He moves well in open space and acts as a wrecking ball in the run game. He is a younger prospect with limited experience. He has plenty of untapped potential with one of the higher ceilings in the entire class.
Akheem Mesidor Scouting Report
Akheem Mesidor is a productive pass rusher who really burst onto the scene this past season. He is older and should not be looked at as the future but should be the present. His playstyle and frame should translate well to the NFL game.
Gabe Jacas Scouting Report
Gabe Jacas is a violent player who delivers pop on each hit. He is a relentless pass rusher with a will to finish each play with an exclamation point. Jacas shows a willingness to contain the run as well, making him an attractive option as a three-down player in the NFL.
Mikail Kamara Scouting Report
Mikail Kamara is an explosive playmaker. He is a natural pass rusher who wins in a variety of ways. His size limits him as a run defender, but he can come into an organization and become a pass rush specialist. Kamara can prove to be a matchup nightmare for the slower, less athletic offensive tackles. Look for Mikail to put up impressive pass rushing numbers quickly.
Dani Dennis-Sutton Scouting Report
Dani Dennis-Sutton is a disruptive pass rusher with a rare combination of athleticism and size. He had a prolific combine and looks to be one of the most impactful edge rushers in the class. He has his limitations against the run, but he is a dominant pass rusher who will see the field early and often.
R Mason Thomas Scouting Report
R Mason Thomas is a violent mover with an explosive skillset. He has a wide range of pass rushing moves to win on the edge and moves with incredible bend to get around the edge. He will have an impact on an NFL team’s pass rush immediately, but has work to do as a run defender to see a bulk of the snaps on the edge.
LT Overton Scouting Report
LT Overton is a strong and densely built edge rusher who can play 3 tech and penetrate gaps in a pinch. He doesn’t win with quick twitch athleticism, instead relying on strength. His frame is likely maxed out, meaning he can’t add too much more muscle to kick inside. He is more of a one-dimensional edge rusher with high run defending upside.
Reggie Virgil Scouting Report
Jalen Virgil is a large frame with reliable hands to make difficult catches in tight windows. He is a savvy route runner who can create separation in all three areas of the field. He could afford to get stronger to win more consistently and as a run blocker.
Josh Cameron Scouting Report
Josh Cameron is a fluid athlete with reliable hands and elusiveness with the ball in his hands. He is one of the best return specialists in the country and will be looked at as both a wide receiver and returner in the NFL.
Ted Hurst Scouting Report
Ted Hurst is a freak athlete with the size and fluid movement skills to win all over the field. He is such a savvy route runner and wins in a large variety of ways. Hurst is a difficult player for defenses to contain. It will be interesting to see if his game can translate from the Sun Belt to the NFL, but he should be an NFL contributor within a few seasons.
Mike Washington Jr. Scouting Report
Mike Washington Jr. is a physical specimen who can with his special combination of size and speed. He runs with such violence, making it hard for a defense to deal with for a full 60 minutes. If he can prove that he can hang on to the football, he could demand a heavy workload in the NFL.
J’Mari Taylor Scouting Report
J’Mari Taylor had an excellent couple of seasons to round out his collegiate career. He will be a difference maker in the backfield and has proven he can handle a heavy workload. His skillset does not translate to that same workload in the NFL, but he can do a little bit of everything.
Kaelon Black Scouting Report
Kaelon Black offers guaranteed yardage as a powerful runner between the tackles with the patience to exploit rushing lanes effectively. He does not offer any pass catching upside, which limits his ability to be an every-down back in the NFL.
Cashius Howell Scouting Report
Cashius Howell is a violent edge rusher with the burst to overwhelm opponents. His measurables leave much to be desired, but he wins in other ways. Howell will be limited in overall snap share due to his lack of run defending prowess, but he can be an elite pass rusher.
David Bailey Scouting Report
David Bailey is a smaller edge rusher with the movement and explosiveness to set the edge on every rep. Nobody will be able to mirror him on every rep and he will get into the backfield based on that alone. His size is a concern as it makes him more one dimensional than others at the position. Bailey does provide a unique skillset that will make him an attractive option to transform a team’s pass rush.
TJ Parker Scouting Report
TJ Parker is an elite edge rusher with plenty of upside as both a run stuffer and a pass rusher. He lacks the elite movement skills of a high-end pass rusher, but has more size and strength to his game. His run defense makes up for his lack of quick-twitch movements.
Keldric Faulk Scouting Report
Keldric Faulk has elite tools to become a difference maker on the edge in the NFL. He needs to become more consistent as his numbers fluctuated at Auburn. He is a well-rounded player who can play a majority of snaps for a defense. Faulk should be thought of as a first round talent with high upside.
Rueben Bain Jr. Scouting Report
Rueben Bain Jr. is a disruptive pass rusher who can get into the backfield in a flash. He has a deep bag of tricks, winning in a variety of ways. His arm length is a big concern, but Bain has the talent to overcome it. Bain should be looked at as a top 10 pick and instant impact player.
Luke Petitbon Scouting Report
Luke Petitbon should be viewed as a player who needs to prove that he can occupy a roster spot. He will either be on a practice squad or low on the active depth chart. He is not an NFL starter, but can be a valuable depth addition.
DJ Campbell Scouting Report
DJ Campbell can be a reliable depth piece for an NFL offensive line. He has the tools to develop into an average starter at the next level. He should not be looked at as an instant answer, but he has room to grow into a good player.
