School: Auburn
Class: Junior
Position: EDGE
HT: 6’6
WT: 285 lbs
Background: Keldric Faulk was a top 100 recruit in the 2023 class. He was a top 10 defensive lineman and top 10 player in Alabama. Keldric played for Highland Home High School, where he was a first team all-state selection as a senior. Faulk played in the 2022 Alabama-Mississippi All-Starr Game and the 2023 All-American Bowl. Keldric Faulk committed to Auburn over Florida State, Florida, and Clemson.
College: Faulk played in every game as a true freshman in 2023, totaling 35 tackles and 3.5 for a loss. In 2024, Faulk managed to record 11 TFLs and 7 sacks on his way to an All-SEC Third Team selection. He was named a team captain as a junior in 2025. His volume statistics took a hit in his junior season, largely due to teams making him the focus of their scouting report. He still managed 2 sacks and 5 TFLs on his way to a Third Team All-SEC selection.
Strengths: Keldric Faulk is a younger player with plenty of untapped potential. Faulk has quick and violent hands. His jabs have serious power to knock tackles off their anchor and deconstruct blocks. Faulk has a deep toolkit when it comes to pass rush moves to win on the edge. He has a devastating chop to deconstruct and shed blockers at the point of attack. Faulk is big enough to shift inside to 4 or 3 tech in a pinch, but athletic and shifty enough to play on the edge. His length plays into him being a good run defender at the line of scrimmage. He can reach out and close gaps with that length to make unlikely tackles.
Weaknesses: Faulk’s most recent season’s lack of production is alarming. He was expected to take a major step forward and instead his volume numbers took a step back. Off the line, he does not have elite explosiveness to pop into the pads of opponents and create any serious knockback. He often works himself too far up the field and takes himself behind the play. He tries to work around the edge instead of through the offensive tackle by cutting the corner.
Conclusion: Keldric Faulk has elite tools to become a difference maker on the edge in the NFL. He needs to become more consistent as his numbers fluctuated at Auburn. He is a well-rounded player who can play a majority of snaps for a defense. Faulk should be thought of as a first round talent with high upside.
