Arizona Cardinals 2025 Season Preview
The Arizona Cardinals are looking to make a push for the playoffs behind a minor retool around QB Kyler Murray in hopes of finally getting him to the postseason. They had one of my favorite offseasons in the entire NFL by re-signing their current talent and bringing in new names to build depth at key positions.
San Francisco 49ers 2025 Season Preview
The San Francisco 49ers had a disappointing season in 2024. While many expected them to win the division, they only managed to win 6 games. In large part, the failure of a season has injuries to blame. It felt as though they were snakebitten by the injury bug on both offense and defense.
Los Angeles Rams 2025 Season Preview
The Los Angeles Rams have held onto their competitive window for a longer time than expected due to excellent draft classes and managing the salary cap well. Les Snead has done well to capitalize on Matthew Stafford’s better years and, while Stafford may be on the decline due to age and injuries, the team is going all in on a Super Bowl in 2025.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2025 Season Preview
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seemingly avoided a rebuild after the short, yet successful, Tom Brady era. Taking a flyer on QB Baker Mayfield has already seen its benefits both for the team and for Mayfield. On top of the quarterback situation being taken care of, they have done an incredible job drafting and filling the roster with talent.
Atlanta Falcons 2025 Season Preview
The Atlanta Falcons are looking to capitalize on a season in which plenty of young talent showed promise while adding a veteran presence and key draft picks in the offseason. The Falcons have yet to make the playoffs since that Super Bowl run in 2016. This upcoming season could very well be their year.
Carolina Panthers 2025 Season Preview
Carolina is looking to take a huge step forward in the NFC and put themselves back on track to being playoff contenders. A successful season for the Panthers does not have to include a playoff appearance. There does need to be production from the wide receiver room and continue to see the development from Bryce Young.
New Orelans Saints 2025 Season Preview
The New Orleans Saints have flirted with salary cap hell for what feels like a decade now. It has finally started to catch up with them and they will surely be entering a full rebuild in 2025. They are without the star players that they are used to having and the stars they do have on the roster are on the wrong side of 30.
Detroit Lions 2025 Season Preview
The Lions are dealing with plenty of turnover as both their offensive and defensive coordinators found head coaching jobs this offseason. Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson were thought by some to be the best in their respective roles. Replacing both is not impossible, but it will take some time.
Minnesota Vikings 2025 Season Preview
The Vikings are making the transition from a fantastic year out of Sam Darnold to JJ McCarthy, who will essentially be a rookie in 2025. Coming off the season-ending injury, McCarthy will look to put together a full and productive season with Kevin O’Connell. If Sam Darnold can resurrect his career in the Vikings’ offense, that should be a good sign for what JJ McCarthy can do.
Green Bay Packers 2025 Season Preview
The Green Bay Packers have the youngest roster in the NFL by average age,but that has been no excuse to not be a competitive team. Despite coming into another year as the youngest team, they hope to take that next step as a true super bowl contender. They will need some young players, specifically on offense, to take that leap to stardom.
Chicago Bears 2025 Season Preview
The Chicago Bears have undergone plenty of change during the offseason. Making former Lions’ OC Ben Johnson the Head Coach may be the best hire of the year. Johnson made former Denver Broncos’ Tight Ends’ Coach Declan Doyle his offensive coordinator. Despite the role, Johnson will be calling plays.
Philadelphia Eagles 2025 Season Preview
Philadelphia won the Super Bowl for the 2nd time in the last decade. Howie Roseman has hand selected this roster, largely through the draft, to be as dominant as possible. It seems as though Roseman gets every draft selection correct year in and year out. Will their offseason moves be enough to let them repeat as champions?
Washington Commanders 2025 Season Preview
The Washington Commanders are coming into the 2025 season with serious expectations. Expectations that have not been thrust upon them in decades. With Jayden Daniels’ early success, their rebuild was not only accelerated, but completed. They cannot afford to get complacent with their progress and will need to strive for improvement after their division rivals won the Super Bowl.
Dallas Cowboys 2025 Season Preview
The offseason has become a bit of a weak spot every year for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. It seems as though it would greatly benefit the organization if Jones took a backseat in the daily operations of the team to a traditional general manager. Before dissecting the departures, it is worth mentioning that they have not get an extension done with Micah Parsons and the discourse around that situation has been rather negative.
New York Giants 2025 Season Preview
The Giants are looking at a very real possibility of being one of the worst teams in the NFL and contending for the 1st overall pick. If this were to be the case, you can expect there to be coaching and front office changes. Their defensive front will continue to be the strong point of their roster, but if their offense cannot start to be at least an average unit, this team will be in serious trouble.
Kansas City Chiefs 2025 Season Preview
The Kansas City Chiefs are becoming a dynasty right before our eyes. They will need to toe the line with the cap and excellent drafting over the course of their run in order to maintain contender status, which they have managed to do up until this point. As long as they have Patrick Mahomes at QB and Andy Reid calling the shots, they will always be a contender.
Los Angeles Chargers 2025 Season Preview
In Year 2 of the Harbaugh regime, the Chargers should take a step forward and maybe even push for the AFC West title. If the offense can become more well-rounded, they will be one of the most formidable teams in the conference.
Denver Broncos 2025 Season Preview
The Denver Broncos expedited their rebuild in the 2024 season as they not only improved but became a playoff team. Their ability to build through the draft and create the best defense in football made life easy on their rookie QB, who had a fantastic debut campaign.
Las Vegas Raiders 2025 Season Preview
The Las Vegas Raiders have had plenty of turnover this offseason and are expected to make some strides due to that.
The biggest change for the Raiders comes with the coaching staff. They made the change to hire Pete Carroll to be the next head coach and hired Chip Kelly soon after to be the offensive coordinator. Kelly’s innovative offense led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a national championship in 2024.
