School: Oregon
Class: Junior
Position: TE
HT: 6’3
WT: 245 lbs
Background: Kenyon Sadiq was a 4-star athlete out of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sadiq was a top 5 ATH in the country, a top 100 player, and the top player in Idaho for the class of 2023. Sadiq played for Skyline High School, where he played both sides of the ball and was named Idaho Player of the Year. He finished his senior season with 62 catches for 1,303 yards and 18 touchdowns. This was a good enough campaign to get him into the U.S. Army Bowl. Sadiq committed to play for Oregon over Michigan, Iowa State, Washington, and others.
College: As a true freshman in 2023, Sadiq was primarily a special teamer, but did catch 5 passes and even a touchdown on the season. In 2024, he saw his offensive role expand substantially. Kenyon caught 24 passes for 308 yards. The highlight of his season was the Big 10 championship against Penn State, where he caught two touchdown passes. Sadiq was a First Team All-Big 10 selection and was even named an All-American by multiple outlets in 2025. He was also a Mackey Award finalist after posting 51 receptions for 560 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Strengths: Kenyon Sadiq is an athletic freak. He is also built like an early 2000s inside linebacker. Sadiq runs a low 4.5 and can jump out of the stadium. He is able to cut through the defense like a hot knife through butter. Shooting up the seam on vertical routes, he takes the top off the defense. He is an incredibly versatile player who lined up all over the offense due to his athletic prowess. Sadiq is a savvy route runner who does well to find openings in zone coverage in the short to intermediate areas of the field. He is a matchup nightmare for coverage linebackers. Nobody can match Sadiq’s combination of size and speed. Kenyon has incredibly reliable hands. In traffic, Sadiq does well to rip the ball out of the air and make a big play.
Weaknesses: Sadiq has a limited sample size of production; he was only a starter for Oregon for 1 season. Sadiq is shorter than what some NFL teams may want at the tight end position; he won’t be able to win contested balls with height or length. Sadiq is an inconsistent blocker. Some blocking reps show pure dominance while others show complete incompetence.
Conclusion: Kenyon Sadiq is the most athletically gifted player in this entire draft class. He does things that no tight end can do, and he will be an instant impact player. Get the ball in his hands and watch him work.
