School: Georgia

Class: Senior

Position: WR

HT: 6’5

WT: 205 lbs

Background: Noah Thomas was a top wide receiver out of Texas in the recruiting class of 2022. Thomas is from League City, Texas and attended Clear Springs High School. Noah was a top 300 player, top 50 wide receiver, and top 50 player in Texas in his class. As a senior, he was a unanimous first team all-district selection and was a third team all-state selection. In addition to football, Thomas was an elite sprinter and played basketball. Noah Thomas committed to Texas A&M out of high school over Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and others.

College: Thomas saw his reps start to increase as a sophomore for the Aggies, a year in which he had 29 receptions for 359 yards and 5 touchdowns. In 2024, Thomas broke out, recording 39 catches for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns. After that productive season with Texas A&M, Thomas chose to transfer to Georgia. Noah was expected to have a breakout campaign for the Bulldogs in 2025, but his numbers were disappointing. He only managed to snag 16 receptions for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns on the year.

Strengths: Noah Thomas is a big target on the boundary who can go up and snatch those contested footballs away from defensive backs. There is not a defensive back in the world that can match Noah’s length. He has long strides that allow him to create separation in just a few steps. Thomas is also a crafty route runner in the short to intermediate areas, which may come as a shock to some, given his size. The fact that he is a shifty route runner makes him more alignment versatile. Thomas can be seen lining up in the slot at times. This combination of length and craftiness creates a nightmare mismatch for defenses on the outside.

Weaknesses: Thomas has the long strides, but his top gear is lacking that elite speed. He can get hawked down by defensive backs who might have faster straight-line speed. He is more of a scheme specific wide receiver who can exploit man coverage, but struggles heavily against zone. He does not read defenses or situations well. On route stems, he fails to find weaknesses in zones. Consistency in Noah’s production is extremely worrisome. He has had such an up and down career and is coming off of an undeniably disappointing season for the Bulldogs.

Conclusion: Noah Thomas has the size that any NFL team will love on the boundary. He has a fascinating frame and craftiness that could be worth taking a flyer on. His highs throughout his career are impressive but his lows have been very low.
