School: Alabama

Class: Junior

Position: OT

HT: 6’7

WT: 360 lbs

Background: Kadyn Proctor was a top 10 recruit in the 2023 class out of Des Moines, Iowa. Proctor was a 5-star by most outlets and was a top offensive tackle in the class. Proctor played for Southeast Polk High School, where he also played basketball and competed in track & field. Proctor earned an All-American Bowl selection. After originally committing to Iowa, Proctor flipped to Alabama on signing day.

College: Proctor was immediately the starting left tackle for the Crimson Tide as a freshman in 2023. Proctor was selected to the coaches’ All-SEC Freshman Team. In 2024, Proctor was named an All-SEC Second Team selection and was on the Outland Trophy Watchlist. Proctor had another terrific season for the Crimson Tide in 2024. He was an All-SEC First Team selection and was a member of an offensive line that led Alabama to a CFP appearance. He returned to Alabama in 2025 to do more of the same. He was an All-American and First Team All-SEC selection in his final season with the Crimson Tide.

Strengths: Kadyn Proctor offers an obvious and imposing frame that overwhelms defenders at the point of attack. That frame meshes beautifully with Proctor’s athleticism, which comes as a surprise at that size. He explodes out of his stance and into the pads of defensive linemen with power and authority. His movement skills along the offensive line are unmatched. He matches lateral agility on the line with clean footwork and movement of his own. Proctor processes stunts and twists well, rarely getting mixed up in the shuffle. He does a good job of taking on new assignments and handing them off when necessary. Proctor gets set in pass protection with a firm anchor. He can absorb power rushes with ease and knock them off their rush.

Weaknesses: Proctor’s finishing in the run game comes and goes. He tends to miss assignments at the second level. He takes poor angles that result in missed lunges. Proctor relies on his size and takes the approach that he can just steamroll linebackers. Too often he allows linebackers to work around him and make a play on the ball carrier.

Conclusion: Kadyn Proctor has an overwhelming frame to go with elite athleticism for his size. He should be expected to have one of the highest RAS scores in the entire draft class. He is a natural pass protector with a strong anchor to take on any archetype of edge rusher. He struggles with finding landmarks in the run game, but that can be worked out schematically. Proctor is a Day 1 difference maker.
