School: Notre Dame

Class: Junior

Position: RB

HT: 6’0

WT: 214 lbs

Background: Jeremiyah Love was a top 100 player in the class of 2023 out of St. Louis, Missouri. He was a top 5 running back and top 3 player in the state in his class. Love played for Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, where he also competed in track & field. Love ran for 1,291 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior, earning the 2022 Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year. He also helped Christian Brothers win back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior. Love committed to play for Notre Dame over Alabama, Michigan, and Texas A&M.

College: As a freshman for the Fighting Irish, Jeremiyah ran for 385 yards and a touchdown. Love enjoyed a breakout season in 2024, rushing for 1,125 yards and 17 rushing touchdowns. In 2025, Love was a Heisman Trophy finalist, Doak Walker Award winner, and All-American after rushing for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Strengths: Jeremiyah Love is a freak athlete who can win in a variety of ways. He has sudden burst to reach that top end speed in the blink of an eye. When the defense does catch Love, it is a struggle to bring him down. He will never go down on initial contact and will need more than one defender to be brought down. Love is a versatile back who can be used both as a pass catcher and as a pure runner. He can line up out wide, in the slot, or in the backfield in the pass game. He combines his speed and athleticism with raw strength. He is a powerful runner, which is shown in his contact balance. He keeps his legs churning in muddy waters to push forward for extra yards. Love is a truly well-rounded back with home run potential on any given snap.

Weaknesses: Love has an unorthodox way of holding the football, which hasn’t been a huge issue, but could become a problem if NFL players go after it. While he is a threat in the passing game, he is not a dynamic route runner. In pass protection, despite having lower body strength, he gets moved off his base and is susceptible to being bull rushed.

Conclusion: Jeremiyah Love is a phenomenally well-rounded running back. He can do everything at a very high level and will look to be one of the most dynamic players in the league immediately. The weaknesses in his game are easy to fix and coachable.
