School: Notre Dame
Class: Redshirt Junior
Position: RB
HT: 5’11
WT: 210 lbs
Background: Jadarian Price was a 4-star running back out of Denison, Texas. Price was a top 200 player and top 15 running back in the class of 2022. Price was twice named District Player of the Year for Denison High School. As a senior, he ran for 1,803 yards and 18 touchdowns. Throughout his high school career, he tallied a total of 4,990 yards and 55 touchdowns. Price chose to play for Notre Dame over schools such as Ohio State, Texas, and Baylor.
College: Jadarian missed his true freshman season in 2022 due to injury. 2023 saw Price run for 272 yards and be a key contributor on special teams. In 2024, Price ran the ball for 746 yards and 7 touchdowns, solidifying himself as a key component of the Fighting Irish offense. Jadarian had a similar season in 2025 with 674 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Strengths: Jadarian Price is a violent runner who invites contact. He has a robust lower half that allows him to push forward in scrums. When met with contact in the open field, Jadarian does well to stay upright and bounce off for extra yardage opportunities. He is an excellent runner between the tackles. He gets skinny and explodes with acceleration when he identifies a gap. Price has the ball security of a trustworthy bell cow back. Price has great vision, which is evident when attacking cutbacks. He can get from one lane to the next in the blink of an eye. Jadarian was the pass-catching threat out of the backfield at Notre Dame. He has sure hands and can turn upfield to hurt the defense after the catch.
Weaknesses: Price does not have the pass protecting prowess that is sought after at the running back position. At times, Price can get too cute in the backfield. He tries to find the perfect opportunity instead of just taking the yards the defense gives him. He gives the second level too much time to get downhill and make a tackle behind the line of scrimmage. Price suffered that torn achilles at Notre Dame, which is something to monitor at the next level as he battles through a longer season with more responsibility.
Conclusion: Jadarian Price has been a reliable weapon for the Notre Dame offense for the entirety of his career. He is one of the most consistent options at the position in his draft class. His violent running style will translate well to the NFL.
