School: Texas A&M

Class: Junior

Position: IOL

HT: 6’5

WT: 315

Background: Chase Bisontis was a consensus 4-star interior offensive lineman in the 2023 class. Out of Ramsey, NJ, Chase was the top ranked player in the state. At Don Bosco Prep, he helped get the team to a state championship game. As a sophomore, he was selected to the MaxPreps All-American Team. Chase Bisontis committed to Texas A&M over LSU, Michigan State, and Rutgers.

College: As a freshman in 2023, Bisontis started all 13 games for the Aggies, primarily at right tackle. He was named to ESPN’ Freshman All-American Team. In 2024, Chase switched to left guard, where he excelled. In 2025, Bisontis was an All-SEC Second team selection after being one of the most impactful guards in the nation.

Strengths: Bisontis is a good mover for his size. He shows off athleticism in the run game where he can climb to the second level and hit his landmarks with the linebackers. He pulls across the line smoothly to seal off the edge and hit the next level. He is also a good lead blocker in open space where he can clear extended lanes by bouncing linebackers or defensive backs in the screen game. In pass protection, Bisontis has quick hands that he fires rapidly into the chest of the defender to keep them off balance. His hands work separately from his legs without getting oout of sync. If he is beat on the first step, his quick hands and athleticism give him the ability to recover.

Weaknesses: Bisontis doesn’t have the knockback ability that is so sought after in guards. While his hands are quick, they are not powerful. He doesn’t have the length to make up for a lack of power, either. If power rushers get into his chest, they can walk him back and collapse the pocket with ease. Bisontis has also struggled with discipline throughout his career. He is one of the more penalized offensive linemen in the entire class.

Conclusion: Chase Bisontis is an impactful and athletic guard who can match movement skills with quick hands and light feet. He doesn’t have the prototypical guard power but he wins in other ways. Additional muscle mass could go a long way for Bisontis in making him a more well-rounded player.
