Background: Blake Miller was a 4-star offensive tackle out of Strongsville, Ohio. Miller was an All-Ohio First Team member and all-district member in 2020 and 2021. He was a top 10 player in Ohio and top 20 offensive tackle in the class of 2022. In addition to offensive tackle, he also played defensive tackle for Strongsville. Blake Miller chose to play for Clemson over Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan, and others.
College: Miller was an instant impact player for the Tigers. He earned First Team Freshman All-American honors from multiple outlets. In 2023, Miller was a Third Team All-ACC. 2024 was the best year of Miller’s Clemson career. He was a First Team All-ACC selection and an All-America honorable mention after starting all 14 games for the Tigers. Miller was once again named an All-ACC First Team selection in 2025 after another prolific season at left tackle for the Tigers.
Strengths: Blake Miller is a physically imposing offensive tackle who uses strength and raw power to knock edge rushers off their path. He plays with effortless strength, displacing defenders and clearing the chaos at the line of scrimmage. His punch carries significant weight. The initial contact is enough to knock defenders on their heels while the subsequent punches keep them at bay. His upper body works well with his lower body in pass protection. He has quick footwork to keep his matchup square in front of him. His athleticism is apparent on tape as he moves to the second level with ease to displace linebackers in open space.
Weaknesses: Miller tends to struggle against stunts or twists at the line. He doesn’t struggle processing, but his ranginess gets tested with quick twitch or sudden movement along the line. He gets funky in the second level. He takes poor angles to linebackers. He lunges when attempting to latch onto defenders, putting himself in less than advantageous positions.
Conclusion: Blake Miller has the frame and strength to win at the next level. He plays with the functional athleticism to win in all phases. He struggles with change of direction and sudden movement across his body. He will be a starter as a rookie with the collegiate experience to find early success.
