School: Georgia
Class: Redshirt Junior
Position: DT
HT: 6’4
WT: 310 lbs
Background: Christen Miller was a consensus 4-star defensive lineman out of Ellenwood, Georgia. He was a top 10 player in the state and top 15 player at the position. He played for Cedar Grove High School, were he won the Class 3A state championship as a senior. He was an all-state selection by multiple outlets that season, as well. Miller picked Georgia over Oregon, Ohio State, Miami, and Florida A&M.
College: Miller was a reserve for the Bulldogs in 2022 and 2023 before becoming a starter in 2024. In 12 games in 2024, he posted 27 tackles, including 3.5 TFLs. His numbers plateaued, largely due to the focus on him, in 2025. However, he still managed 3 TFLs and his impact was felt every week.
Strengths: Christen Miller is a rock-solid defensive tackle who remains sturdy on his path. Miller does well to initiate contact and dictate how a rep progresses. He immediately puts the offensive lineman on the defensive. He gets under the pads of offensive linemen to uproot and walk them back into the backfield. Miller has heavy hands with a lethal jab to put opponents from their anchor to their heels in a hurry. His hands remain active in the pass rush. As a run defender, he can manage multiple gaps simultaneously due to his size. Once he squeezes through a gap in pursuit of the football, he takes good angles to the ball carrier, stopping plays before they begin. Miller is a good fit for anywhere on the interior. He can play 1-tech just as well as he can play 3-tech, adjusting his playstyle depending on where he is lined up.
Weaknesses: When Miller’s strength is matched up the middle, his rush tends to get stagnant, and he does not let his technique and athleticism take over. When he gets into the backfield, he does not finish consistently. Miller tends to hesitate or get worked around by ball carriers. Combo blocks tend to take Miller completely out of his game. He needs to develop a plan for working through double teams and combo blocks.
Conclusion: Christen Miller is a versatile defensive tackle who can handle multiple assignments. If he can channel a way to match opposing strength with technique, he will be a more well-rounded player and find more success. He doesn’t have the volume production that many do, but all the traits are there.
